Let's Not Forget About Stargate

Amazing how a $500BN AI infrastructure project can get upstaged, but that's what happened. Amidst all the (maybe purposefully timed) DeepSeek mayhem, last week's Stargate announcement blipped on the radar and then disappeared. But it's a big deal for future U.S. AI efforts.

The U.S. Copyright Office this week released new guidance on what is and isn't copyright protected when it comes to materials created with the help of AI. Tl;dr: Certain works produced with the use of AI can be copyright protected.
